Description:

We are looking for a Systems Administrator who loves to provide the best possible customer service while maintaining our business systems. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, friendly, and customer focused while working to achieve the following:

Accountabilities:

• Provide leadership with managing the ERP system, the BI reporting tool, the MS SQL databases and any other data management required.
• Maintain all business systems and ensure consistency and reliability in all business systems and applications.
• Maintain or increase operational efficiency by refining or replacing back-end systems, reducing complexity whenever feasible.
• Provide assistance and training to other members of the IT group; participating in a culture of exchanging knowledge and skills.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal resources to maintain, develop and implement infrastructure projects to achieve organizational goals.
• Determine the tools and resources needed to accomplish objectives, and assist in their procurement.
• Systematize and document backup and restoration processes as part of business continuity planning.
• Help develop and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
• Integrate system monitoring and reporting tools to improve operational visibility.
• Contribute to cyber security and server hardening projects.
• Leverage experience with telephony elements on various platforms to provide direction and best practices.
• Perform after-hours maintenance and upgrades as required. Some on-call in a rotation is required.

Qualifications:

· Must be enrolled in an Information Technology program

· Experience with managing business systems, business reporting systems and tying systems databases together.

· Experience with ERP upgrades considered an asset.

· Experience in VMWare Infrastructure environment, vSphere, vCenter, vSphere Data Protection.

· Red Hat Linux experience is considered an asset.

· Experience with Office 365 and Azure.

· Experience working with telephony across different platforms including VOIP, PBX and Analog.

· Experience with Microsoft Active Directory environment and underlying Windows Server components.

· Experience with cross-platform authentication in Windows and Linux environments.

· Project management experience an asset.

Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, firewalls and branch office WAN topologies an asset.
