Our team in Edmonton, Alberta is currently looking for a self-motivated and Product Analyst become an integral part of the team.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Operation Services (Director), the Product Analyst will
Accountabilities:
• Coordinate, collect and summarize market research and competitor analysis on products and services within the HVAC/R industry. Analyze competitive pricing, identify and recommend ideal pricing structures and strategies to be competitive and increase market share.
• Responsible for the maintenance and development of the parts inventory information.
• Responsible for categorizing parts according to industry and product type
• Responsible for ensuring accurate alternate part numbers are provided for discontinued parts
• Prepare easy search tools, allowing for more accurate part recognition at the counter
• Prepare easy to understand part descriptions for new parts, correcting existing part descriptions.
• Support the Sinclair website, leading the E-Commerce project, coordinating the internal content in a backup support capacity.
• Act as backup for the market analyst, reconciling actual margins to targeted margins on a monthly basis as well as provide recommended corrective actions. Communicate report findings and analysis effectively to Management.
• Work closely with the IT department developing and preparing a variety of sales and marketing reports becoming the solar data subject matter for the sales transactional information.
• Provide vacation relief for Marketing Analyst.
• Assist Marketing Coordinator with consistent and timely communication to the Branch Managers located across western Canada in regards to a variety of marketing and sales initiatives.
• Support other duties as required.

• Strong analytical skills, including a strong adherence to confidentiality, detail and creativity.
• Team-player mindset with high level of dedication to raising the bar for the whole team.
• Experience planning, organizing and executing events and projects.
• Highly proficient computer skills with exceptional Microsoft Office capabilities, specifically Access, Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to quickly learn new software programs including Eclipse (ERP).
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of personalities and build relationships across the organization.
• Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and have proven ability to practice sound judgment in making decisions while working independently.
