Our team in Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta is currently looking for a self-motivated and Pricing & Marketing Analyst become an integral part of the team.
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the Pricing & Marketing Analyst for Sinclair Supply Ltd. (SSL) will provide administrative support to the General Sales Manager as well as act as a dynamic team player to complete an array of tasks within the head office and in support of 17 branches across Western Canada.
• Coordinate, collect and summarize market research and competitor analysis on products and services within the HVAC/R industry.
• Analyze competitive pricing, identify and recommend ideal pricing structures and strategies to be competitive and increase market share.
• Liaise with sales management to ensure customers are in correct price classes; audit the pricing for homeowner customers.
• Recommend and update pricing including freight multipliers and price classes, in consideration of e-commerce capabilities, and branch location.
• Upload and maintaining pricing files to Eclipse ERP system, being the subject matter expert on the ERP pricing options, documenting all pricing processes.
• Support the E-Commerce project as the business analyst and provide sales and marketing subject matter expertise.
• Process Dealer claim backs on negotiated pricing. Create and distribute reports and dashboards reflecting sales metrics and status.
• Work closely with the IT department developing and preparing a variety of sales and marketing reports.
• Communicate report findings and analysis effectively to General Sales Manager and other Management as required.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator related to dealer applications, pricing studies, and cooperative fund submissions ensuring co-op expenditures are processed timely and accurately including reviewing the PO reconciliation of co-op expenditures and credits.
• Support the Sales & Marketing training programs and other events.
• Support marketing coordinator and director of supply chain regarding show room designs and improvements.
• Provide vacation relief for Costing Administrator.
• Assist Marketing Coordinator and General Sales Manager with consistent and timely communication to the Branch Managers located across western Canada in regards to a variety of marketing and sales initiatives.
• Support other duties as required.


• Seasoned marketing professional, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, supporting a sales or marketing team.
• Marketing Diploma preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including a strong adherence to confidentiality, detail and creativity.
• Team-player mindset with high level of dedication to raising the bar for the whole team.
• Experience planning, organizing and executing events.
• Highly proficient computer skills with exceptional Microsoft Office capabilities, specifically Access, Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to quickly learn new software programs including Eclipse (ERP).
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of personalities and build relationships across the organization.
• Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and have proven ability to practice sound judgment in making decisions while working independently.
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
